Somms Gone Wild

Hubby was at Hospice du Rhone this weekend pouring and drinking copious amounts of wine. He and partner led a seminar called Somms Gone Wild. Lordy. Please tell me they kept their shirts on. wedding bells

On Wed two friends were joined as partners in our lovely City Hall. It was a short and sweet ceremony then off to Zuni for a fabulous lunch. Many bottles and oysters were emptied and let's just say fun was had by all. Most of the tables at the restaurant were also celebrating a wedding. Groups of 6 tops grinning from ear to ear. There was a warm feeling of camaraderie in the place that I haven't felt in a long time. I'm a lucky girl.

Bliss

There is nothing better than the pool at Indian Springs. AND it stays open until 12am. So...one noodle under your neck. Another under your knees. Staring at the stars. There is nothing better.

This is hard

So, Day 1. Create blog. Why is this so hard? Can't seem to upload photo to fit header. Am I really that stupid? Don't answer. It was decided at dinner last night that it was time to start the old blogging thing. Not sure what I'm going to talk about. Assuming food, wine, travel, art...all the usual things the rest of the world blogs about. I know I don't know more than anyone else but it will sure be fun learning how to upload photos. I think I may need to take a class. I do love taking classes. You should see my latest set of ceramic bowls.
